    The evening moves on

Yummy dinner of steak and wine and rice...there is lettuce later if I want. Not yet.

It's 6:30 pm. Going to just keep posting the little posts as the night roles on. I'm happy. I have to say that I've had three evenings of fighting this week and it suits me.

Just listening to William Shatner talk about his philosophies that make a lot of sense and I'm now curious about his new book. But going to head out and do important stuff in the garden. I bought Van a morning glory, a flower he has always loved. So just for him, I'm planting this.

10:30 pm. it's raining, and my cat willl not come in. Sitting under the car, looking at me like I'm crazy to want him inside. I'm starting a couple of men's shirts tonight, 16th Century and maybe I could use a simpler pattern but I'm using this one. Well maybe not. Maybe this one...

7:45. I have the peppers planted in a raised bed that I merely moved the leaf mold back to plant in. However, the flower bed got completely turned, double-dug, before I tucked the marguirete daisies and whatever those other flowers were into their bed. The poor spiral garden was totally ignored last year, so there are roots and tangles of grasses in there. I cleaned a good spot up, mixed in some leaf mold, and planted Van's morning glory. And then the washtub got a couple of nasturtiums and a v nice looking marguirete daisy of its own.

Van and I are watching "Elizabeth: the Golden Age" and I'm thinking about a nice rum and coke.

9:15 This is really a dull movie. I'm mostly watching it now cause I think the actor who plays Releigh is very nice looking.
