    packed for an event

So from start to finish, it took me 90 minutes to pack my car for this event. I have one blanket, day clothes, and the stuff from the bathroom to pack up. Oh, and my broom. And some booze. We are watching 'ghost rider' and I'm talking to Rachel about tomorrow's drive over and set up. The event is http://www.falconskeep.org/PMP/index.html if you want to check it out.

It was odd today. I was mostly good but I just really had a huge adrenaline thing going for parts of the afternoon. I tried to work it off this evening with pell work. With a long walk. Now with a bit of booze, it seems to be settling down. And wow. It's not PMS - its source I do not know. Something. I got through the day and got my work done and am now doing laundry. And enjoying this movie.

So how do I harness this, how do I trigger it and target it towards becoming stronger, more directed towards being who I am becoming.

    Waiting on reports...

My brain is kind of not tracking well; multitasking is way off today. So..while running a report, i'm not trying to squeeze in another work task today. I've lost myself one-too-many times today.

Plus I took a snapshot of my women-friends and some of us are b*tchy today. To a woman, that I asked. Well, mostly these are women that are volunteering the information, like a warning, not a neon flashy warning on our foreheads but a 'watch it!' sorta warning. We warn each other. Not sure we are warning our men.

I get inspired over the best things!

I want to go home and get all recycle-nazi on Van now. He would tell me to make it easier for him and he will. So...I should.

San Francisco Compost and Green Waste Recycling Program.

San Francisco's Department of the Environment is encouraging residents and businesses to place more food scraps and yard trimmings in green collection carts. The new outreach effort is part of an environmental initiative to help San Francisco reach 75 percent recycling citywide by 2010, a goal approved by the Board of Supervisors.

    Day of Fencing walk-through

This went very, very well. Good questions, good chance to discuss stategy and check things. I feel everything, except for signing up volunteers, is going well.

I could stay at some of these places...The Landmark Trust | Homepage.

First we must raise the funds to restore the building. Once restored, our buildings are available to stay in. There are 186 Landmarks throughout Britain and the Channel Islands, including 23 on Lundy Island, four in Italy and four in the USA. They include forts, manor houses, mills, cottages, castles, gatehouses, follies and towers.

    "Bong!!!"

Ever say something really cool and because it is words, you loose those words forever? I love IM for that quasi-permanence. I was chatting with someone earlier and said " and not sure he has the intestinal fortitude to rebuild those relationships, even if he is willing to acknowledge the value of what he has lost."

It was one of those rap on the side of the head phrases. I got more to say about it but for now, I do. I have the guts. Plus I've the cost analysis down to a science.

And another quote to add to that, this one from The Universe:

Contrary to what would seem like logical thinking, Jonya, putting up your defenses actually inspires others to put up their offenses.

    En garde,
