"Do you enjoy reading paperback books as much as we do? This PaperBack Club was started because we were tired of not being able to share good used paperbacks with others. A while back, the proverbial light bulb went off and we came up with a solution. So we talked and talked about it (until our friends got sick of listening to us), and we decided to build this web site! "
This is a cool idea.

So I'm catching up from the last couple of days of running around Minnesota. Got to see some new country up in western Minnesota, have a nice visit and drive around a couple of places I've not ever been and might not ever go again. And left the camera in the bag!! I'm such a goof.
Got home to pick a whole lot of cherries...I'm making wine out of them, I think. I should have enough to get a couple of gallons of wine, esp if I mix it with apples. Cherry mead does sound wonderful but takes too long to age - cherry ale would be ready to drink in a couple of weeks, though, too. So not sure what I should do, except pick and freeze them for ease later in pitting the darn things. Got two gallons of cherries in the freezer.
Isaiah has a new apartment; moves in on July 4th with help from Van and I and who knows who else? He's got a little one bedroom which will have all the usual rooms - kitchen area, living area, bath and bedroom and various closets. He's very pleased to be taking this step. We are going to provide some things, like a tv and all those first sets of paper products and condiments for his fridge. Cleaning supplies.
Ginny called after her first day of work at Hardy's in Rolla. She's not coming home between the breaks so I'm going down there on July 28 or whenever her last day of finals are so we can have some time together. Whatever else, the vacation will include a trip to Silver Dollar City. Or a float trip...maybe *and* a float trip. Not sure yet. Putting this in here so I don't loose it -it's a good deal.
Van turns 59 tomorrow and is really weirded out by this birthday. So if you know Van and want to assure him he's the same person tomorrow that he is today, tell him so. It's a celebration, not something to be dismayed about.
The Shire is gathered at Martin and Brenna's at a big party, an SCA moot, this weekend. So I'm going out tomorrow afternoon to fight a bit, after going out with Van to shoot tomorrow morning. Then in the late afternoon, Isaiah and Van and I are going to Superman as part of his birthday.
And I'm starting Lyulf's hat tonight! Go Me!
I got a 30 minute run/walk in today. Feels good! I'm sweaty!
Also, got my favor almost done, just need to whipstitch the belt-casing down today. So a bit further in that project. Have found the extra blue fabric for the bliaut that I started and didn't finish as the sides were awkward and will have the seam-ripper out as time permits to start fixing that.
Book-wise, I'm reading Four and Twenty Blackbirds by Cherie Priest and I'm going to ask Becky if she wants to read this one. I think she'll like it.
