I'm sitting here watching the news, listening to Van talk about his week. He's watching telejournalism and I'm waiting for a slice of pizza to heat up, drinking coffee like there is going to be a shortage. I got 6.5 hours of sleep, but could not sleep past 7am. Weird.

There is no practice today for Silfren Mere and I'm sorta bummed about that. Next week being Easter, got to assume there will again be no practice. That's life, though. I guess I'm going to go to Nordskogen on Tuesday evening. And pell work here. Over and over. Some housework today, some physical activity...of course it is already 10:30 lol. Time to stop being lazy and get stuff done.
Very good class tonight. We made shoe patterns. Here at home I got this blog's fighting journal updated, finally. My head is about to explode with sleepiness so later, gaters.
I'm working on the fighter report from today's practice. Awesome time fighting, too. Just wanted to tell you that there is an awesome mexican place in Byron. Downtown, behind the main drag, in what used to be the parking lot of the grocery store. But I'm also having this really great IM convo with someone, two someones, and it's taking me forever to get my thoughts down. LOL@me.

so not writing Fighter School's recap. Starting a new page, though. I LOVE the pages options to this application.
It's 7:44 and we are starting to get awake and moving around. Fantastic day yesterday - I learned stuff and practiced and talked and just had a really good time. Couple favorite memories include Fulke's auth, Tekla's auth, looking across a class and seeing Liz whaling away on her drill partner and just delivering perfect blows, having Roisin help me teach Fulke how to do the move properly and then sorta waving her hand at me at one point and saying 'you got that one. Do wraps.' Giving Hrodir a hug with my underarmor already on and having him be horribly disappointed; then him making Markus hug me. Being on my knees in a melee (hipped) and having to wait to be the last one alive....then not so much. Hitting black and red tape.
More later but I need more coffee.
I am going to Fighter School here at 1 pm, and am greatly looking forward to it. I intend to learn. Fight. Push myself. Have a great time, too.
Lizard and Aletheia are going with me and we will talk, talk. And I'll be home sometime on Sunday to Van's great delight. He worries when I'm on the road. But I'm looking forward to doing some good fighting along with what looks to be like excellent classes. I promise that once I auth in polearm, to actually make one that does not look like a Qtip, hehehe. Oh well.
I have the book that Liz gave me to record things in, so when I get back, I'll write up a nice journal post.
I ordered my tent - I went to a larger size than I initially thought. 10 x 18 is the foot print and it's 9 feet tall. Side opening so I've a built-in canopy fly and saved a bit of money there. I'll have it late March. Yeah! Complete package, too. All I need to add is the labor to set it up.
